2. CareerTrackr automatically parses and extracts structured data
3. Edit content using the markdown editor
4. Track multiple versions

AI-Powered Customization (Pro Feature)

Customize your resume for specific job opportunities:

1. Select a resume and click “Customize”
2. Choose the target job opportunity
3. Optionally paste the job description
4. Add customization notes (optional)
5. AI will tailor your resume to match the role

The AI customization:

• Reorders bullet points to prioritize relevant experience
• Adjusts language to include keywords from the job description
• Maintains all factual information (never invents experience)
• Optimizes for ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems)
• Preserves your writing style and tone

Version Control

• Every edit creates a new version automatically
• Compare versions side-by-side
• Restore previous versions anytime
• Track which version was sent to which opportunity

Resume Tracking

• Embed invisible tracking IDs in each resume

Creating a Resume

Option 1: Upload Existing Resume

1. Go to Documents > New Document
2. Select “Resume” as type
3. Upload your file
4. Wait for parsing to complete
5. Edit in markdown if needed

Option 2: Start from Scratch

1. Go to Documents > New Document
2. Select “Resume” as type
3. Use the markdown editor to create your resume
4. Save to create first version
