Why Use Bulk Operations?
When managing dozens or hundreds of job applications, individual updates become time-consuming and tedious. Bulk operations help you:
- Save Time: Update multiple applications in seconds instead of minutes
- Stay Organized: Apply consistent tags and statuses across similar applications
- Clean Up Quickly: Archive or remove outdated applications efficiently
- Maintain Consistency: Ensure similar applications have the same metadata
Selecting Multiple Applications
Using Checkboxes
- Navigate to your Job Applications list
- Enable selection mode by clicking the Select button in the toolbar
- Check the box next to each application you want to include
- Use the Select All checkbox to choose all visible applications
Smart Selection Tips
- Filter First: Apply filters to show only the applications you want to update
- Sort Strategically: Sort by company, date, or status to group similar items
- Use Search: Find specific applications using the search bar before selecting
Bulk Status Updates
Update the status of multiple applications simultaneously:
- Select the applications you want to update
- Click Bulk Actions → Update Status
- Choose the new status from the dropdown menu
- Click Apply to update all selected applications

Bulk Archiving and Deletion
Archiving Applications
Archiving keeps your data but removes applications from your active view:
- Select applications to archive
- Click Bulk Actions → Archive
- Confirm the action
- Access archived items from the Archived filter
Deleting Applications
Warning: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Select applications to delete
- Click Bulk Actions → Delete
- Review the confirmation dialog carefully
- Type “DELETE” to confirm
